Today, Thursday 13 November, Minister for Trade Ewa Björling will speak on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and HIV at the seminar "Europe of the Health Care Consumer", organised by the Health Consumer Powerhouse in Brussels.At the seminar a major comparative study of health care in Europe will be presented, "The Euro Health Consumer Index 2008".During the day Dr Björling will also meet leaders of the World Customs Organisation (WCO). Sweden is a significant donor to the WCO, whose mission is to support member countries' efforts to modernise their customs administrations so as to promote better and easier trade.

The humanitarian situation has further deteriorated in eastern Congo. Sweden is prepared to quickly provide humanitarian aid amounting to some SEK 40 million, of which SEK 10 million is intended for the UNHCR's work with refugees in the region.
